According to a South Korean neighborhood news report, LG added two distinctive crypto-related targets during its annual comprehensive gathering on Thursday. The goals include turning events and selling blockchain-based programs, as well as trading and financiers of digital money, suggesting whether LG would offer some sort of crypto trading.

At the point of gathering some information about the organization’s goal of starting its own trade or stage, an LG representative softened any hypothesis, saying: “Nothing has been selected at this point. We have only referred to business regions in general terms.

NFT center

Reports of LG building a crypto-related trading hub recently surfaced as Bithumb CEO Heo Baek-Youngful confirmed that trading is partnering with a giant organization to promote a non-fungible token (NFT) trading hub.

The tech maker has been on the road to destroying NFT reception and coordination, and recently reported that it was working with Blockchain tech organization Kakao’s Ground X to showcase a line of clever TVs that are fully NFT competent. LG also reported an organization with Seoul Auction Blue, a web-based art dealer, to undertake other projects related to NFT-based fine arts.

LG’s statements come as individual tech goliaths and South Korea, more broadly, continue to adopt cryptographic forms of money and blockchain-related technology. Recently, South Korean tech giant Samsung announced that it would be sending an NFT stage for its smart TVs, as well as its own store in the Decentraland metaverse.

Most quietly, the nation recently elected crypto-friendly President Yoon Suk-yeol, with Yoon’s political race revolving around liberating South Korea’s crypto industry as well as planning measures to make the country a future home of blockchain innovation unicorns close.

LG’s new statement has prompted individuals to consider whether the firm would set up some sort of crypto trading or trading hub.

A representative for the firm told neighborhood news outlets that “nothing has been selected at this time” in regards to building a crypto trading hub. As per reports, the organization simply referenced business regions to grow comprehensively.

Remarkably, last month the tech maker presented clever TV models with the NFT option with a blockchain organization called Kakao’s Ground X. LG had also declared a collaboration with Seoul Auction Blue, an NFT-centric organization, to complete activities related to NFT-based works of art.

South Korea is a notable hub for crypto exchanges. A new study showed that around 3.8% of the population owned some kind of crypto assets. Additionally, South Korean crypto providers posted a net profit of $2.7 billion a year ago.

Apparently, the market offers great opportunities for business development, as interest in computerized resources is on the rise in the country. Recently, LG’s rival Samsung announced that it would send an NFT stage for its clever TVs and store in the Decentraland metaverse.

In South Korea, local blockchain tiers like Klaytn are seeing their native supremacy wane, with competitors like Polygon taking control of the NFT trading hub, for example.
