Solana Foundation announces the grand opening of ‘Solana Spaces’. The groundbreaking move means that any crypto enthusiast will be able to pop into the retail shop in Hudson Yards, New York City and find out more about Solana’s projects and Web3 in general.
Solana (SOL), the 9th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has decided to go the brick & mortar way to engage people. Any curious person will be able to come in and get their first-ever crypto wallet. ‘Spaces is everyone’s Crypto friend’, – reads Solana Spaces’ Twitter.
Moreover, the visitors will be able to earn some USD Coin (USDC) while they’re at it, as the Solana Spaces have a built-in Learn & Earn program. The program also includes tutorials from the top move-to-earn app STEPN, as well as Phantom & others. Bringing face-to-face lessons about crypto is a great way to educate those who ‘don’t have that crypto friend’.
What’s more, The Solana Foundation hasn’t forgotten about those who are already advanced in blockchain technology. The $5 million Summer Camp Hackathon began on July 11th and it’s going to run over a month, until August 16th. Coders will be able to complete tasks & quests and get a piece of the $5M pie.
